We are proud to recognize Nate Adams for earning his Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical: HVAC and Refrigeration.
Nate earned his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from The Pennsylvania State University and has continued to expand his technical expertise since joining RPA Engineering. His primary focus is with HVAC&R systems, while also developing his experience in Fire Protection and Plumbing system design. Throughout his time at RPA Engineering, Nate has contributed to a wide variety of projects spanning commercial tenant fit-outs, clean labs, service utilities, and industrial MEP systems.
One aspect of the work he finds especially rewarding is the coordination of exposed MEP systems within architecturally driven spaces. In projects for Power Home Remodeling, he has helped integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing utilities into open-ceiling designs where the infrastructure becomes part of the finished aesthetic.
The most rewarding aspect of these types of projects is when there is a large, open ceiling space and we are tasked with integrating the MEP utilities into the finish of the space. At the end of the project, the MEP utilities, while installed and exposed within the space, blend into the space and work in-tandem with the interior design, resulting in a cohesive and visually appealing end product.
