We are proud to announce the promotion of David Horton to Manager of Design – Electrical at RPA Engineering. This well-deserved advancement reflects David’s technical expertise, leadership abilities, and commitment to supporting successful outcomes for RPA’s clients and project teams.
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and joined RPA in 2021. During his time with the firm, he has primarily supported industrial clients with electrical power upgrades, equipment installations, and power system coordination. His experience developing robust, yet practical, electrical solutions has made him a valuable resource for both clients and colleagues.
For David, the promotion represents an important professional milestone and an opportunity to help others succeed.
This promotion is both an honor and a reflection of the growth I’ve experienced throughout my engineering career. It represents the trust that the organization has placed in me… [this promotion] allows me to leverage my experience to guide engineers, improve processes, maintain high design standards, and contribute to the long-term growth of the organization.
David Horton, PE
In his new role, David will transition from primarily contributing to individual projects to helping create an environment in which the entire electrical design team can thrive. David will also help the team balance high-performance design with the considerations that influence every successful project, from client goals to installation requirements. RPA’s electrical team brings more than 120 years of combined design and field experience, offering a unique way of achieving high-performance design with practical installation.
As David steps into the role previously held by John Yuskovic following his retirement, he looks forward to building upon the strong foundation John established throughout his distinguished career. David will help guide the electrical department as RPA expands its experience and presence in emerging markets, including renewable energy and data centers. The team’s extensive experience designing resilient electrical systems for industrial environments provides a strong foundation for supporting these growing markets, particularly in mission-critical facilities.
RPA Engineering congratulates David on this well-deserved promotion and looks forward to his continued leadership as we strengthen our electrical design capabilities as we deliver responsive and high-quality engineering solutions for our clients.
