Salary: Commensurate with experience. Target annual salary range $90K-$120K.
Job Description
RPA Engineering is looking for a driven and energetic senior mechanical engineer to integrate with our machine design team and serve our world-class clientele to support machine design and industrial applications. The candidate will focus on design related activities including performing calculations, sizing and selecting components/equipment, and supporting the development of detailed design documents such as assembly and fabrication drawings and specifications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams. Self-starter who takes direction well and is capable of leading of team of designers and junior engineers.
Education & Experience
Required
- BS Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
- 8+ years of experience in industry, such as working for an equipment manufacturer (OEM or supplier), industrial Owner, and/or with a consulting firm in a machine design capacity.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor (and/or Solidworks).
- Demonstrated knowledge of graphical standards as it relates to producing machine design drawings.
- Possess the ability to perform designs, calculations, reports, equipment selections, and specifications.
- Detailed understanding of applicable codes and standards as it relates to the design of machinery and industrial equipment.
- Familiar with various software suites such as MS Word, MS Office, Excel, Teams, Autodesk. Experience with FEA software is a plus.
Preferred
- Professional Engineering licensure.
