ANNOUNCEMENT: Randyl Ernst has joined RPA as Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Engineering
 
Randy has over 30 years of experience specializing in project management for the design, construction, and renovation of new and existing pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing facilities. His achievements include building and managing high-performing teams to oversee client capital portfolios, coordinating, and supervising outside architects, engineers, and construction contractors. His focused skills include planning, estimating, scheduling, commissioning, and validation. He has specialized experience in pharmaceutical facilities including pilot plants, packaging areas for clinical trial supplies, laboratories, vivariums, and mechanical/electrical systems.
 
Projects include greenfield development, mixed-use buildings, pharmaceutical pilot plants (OSD, API, and Biopharma), primary packaging facilities, open-plan laboratories, and utility plant design and construction.
 
Randy originally joined RPA in 1990 as a Project Manager at SmithKline Beecham as a mechanical engineer, eventually managing the RPA team at GSK, and becoming GSK Site Manager for multiple sites for all capital projects. Additionally, Randy started a Commissioning Group at RPA.
 
Most recently Randy led a team of 35 including project managers, schedulers, cost managers, site minor works group, engineering documents office, and construction safety personnel to deliver an average annual $90MM Capital portfolio for a global Biopharma company.
 
Randy, a great addition to our team, will assist RPA in its continued growth and success in providing Engineering, Management, and Consulting Services to leading National and International BioPharma Companies.
