Job Description
Ideal candidate is a project engineer with heavy industrial manufacturing and project management experience. This role will be responsible for project management of capital or engineering improvement projects for various metals clients.
Education & Experience
Required
- A.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Technology degree. Equivalent work experience may be accepted for otherwise well-qualified candidates.
- Strong experience focused in performing project management functions, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical and fluid systems.
- Familiar with various software suites such as MS Word, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
Preferred
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Technology degree.
- 10 years related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current codes and mechanical standards – including ANSI & ASME.
- Experienced in Enterprise Business Systems, Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with metals manufacturing, machine design and fluid systems is preferred.
Tasks, Responsibilities, and Utilized Skills
- Developing project conceptual designs and budgets as well as funding requests.
- Managing contract resources and working with outside suppliers.
- Capable of working independently and within a team framework.
